Razzer’s Runners is a running club based in Barnton near Northwich, Cheshire.
Our philosophy is that of our founder and Club President, Roy 'Razzer' Clarke, that anyone can run, regardless of age, gender or previous athletic pedigree.
We have approximately fifty members, ranging in age from 16 to 70-odd, with a roughly even female to male ratio. We have runners of all abilities, from absolute beginners to marathoners and even the odd triathlete, but we specialise in introducing newcomers to the wonderful sport of running.
The atmosphere at a typical training session is extremely informal and, thanks to the club's ideal location on the edge of Northwich, close to Marbury Country Park, the Trent and Mersey Canal and the open countryside, members can choose their distance and terrain, just as long as everyone gets back in time for a cup of the legendary Razzer's tea!
